Motivational Monday!

Hello Be You! Community,

It's the last week of November...

It's time to celebrate!

List three things you did this month that honoured you...big or small.

Also, here is this week's affirmation...

I celebrate small wins.
I celebrate small wins.

It's a new week!

It's a new week...new possibilities and a fresh start to create the life you want.

Whatever happened last week is in the past.

This week, give yourself one simple, powerful reset...practice a boundary.

Gently say “no” to one obligation that drains you and notice how your energy shifts.

You don’t need to justify it, just protect your time, your peace, and your momentum.

Small boundaries build bold change. Choose one, try it, and tell us how it feels.

Happy Friday!

How is your week going?

My week has been interesting...my kids had a Pro-D day on Monday, then we had the holiday on Tuesday (Remembrance Day)...and the rest of the week has kind of gotten away from me.

So here I am now!

This week's focus is Nourish.

I encourage you to choose one small act that replenishes you (a warm drink, a walk, 10 minutes of reading).

I feel like the last 3 days have been all about nourishing myself after having the kids home for 4 days straight 🙃

This week notice...

It's the first week of November!

I'm moving into this week with a heart full of gratitude...

This past weekend was full of fun, awesomeness and love.

On Saturday, I celebrated my birthday!!

It turned out to be a beautiful day here on the coast...the sun was shining!

Checking In...

ree

It's the last week of October...a gentle reminder that endings and beginnings often share the same doorway.

How are you doing?

What support do you need right now?

A few thoughts to hold onto as you check in with yourself today (and over the week)...

  • You’re allowed to be exactly where you are. Progress isn’t always visible; sometimes it’s quiet, steady work beneath the surface.

A Loving Reminder...

ree

You are not here to be perfect.

You are here to be real...messy, growing, learning, and beautifully human.

Every small choice you make to honour your needs, set a boundary, or forgive yourself builds the foundation of a life that feels true to you.

Today, give yourself permission to...

  • Breathe deeply and let go of “shoulds.”

Happy Friday!

ree

Cheers to YOU, Be You! Community!

Today, choose self-love.

Celebrate the brave, imperfect, authentic you, your voice, your story, your light.

You don’t need permission to be real.

When you show up as yourself, you give others the courage to do the same.

Thank You!

Hello Be You! Community,

As I get ready to spend Thanksgiving weekend (here in Canada) with my husband and kids, I want to take a moment to let you know how grateful I am for each and every one of you here.

Even though we are a small community at the moment, I am so happy that you are here...and I'm looking forward to growing as a community and as individuals.

You are truly amazing...just as you are. Not fixing required.

Embrace who you are, embrace the magic and awesomeness within you.

Loving Reminder...

Hello Be You Community!

A loving reminder…

Being kind to yourself isn’t selfish. It’s essential.

We hold so much for everyone else, but self-compassion is the gentle practice that keeps your heart, energy, and joy alive.

Today, let’s pause and give ourselves the care we readily offer others.

Hello Be You! Community,

"Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are." - Chinese Proverb

I came across this during my yoga practice today, and it landed like a gentle nudge...

How often do we carry the weight of who we think we’re supposed to be, instead of resting into who we truly are?

This is for anyone who’s ever felt the pull between expectation and ease (I know I have...many times).

You are enough. You are worthy. You are unstoppable.

ree

Hello Beautiful Be You! Community,

I want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible strength each of you carries.

Juggling the needs of family, work, and friends, you can face an ongoing battle with one of the most persistent voices in your head, your inner critic. That relentless, sometimes harsh inner voice can make you doubt your worth, question your decisions, and drain your energy.

But what if I told you that this inner critic doesn’t have to be your enemy? What if you could reframe it, turn it from a harsh taskmaster into a powerful ally?

Today, I want to share with you how reframing your inner critic can become a transformative tool for self-love, confidence, and unstoppable motivation.

New Month, New Possibilities!

I know I've been a little MIA lately...

There is so much going on right now...personally and here in this community.

I have so much to share with you!

I'm super excited to tell you that I've decided to bring Coffee Chat BACK!!

Mark your calendar for September 18th at 11 AM PT/@ PM ET. I'll share more on that next week.

When Life Gives You Lemons

I'm posting a bit late this week...

This has been a little weird/off over in my neck of the woods.

My mother-in-law was visiting us over the weekend and left on Tuesday.

Things are always slightly different when you’ve got visitors…and I planned for that. But what I didn’t plan for was my husband getting a head cold, then my daughter, and then waking up with a leaking living room ceiling this morning.

Honestly, I didn’t really feel like going into my office today…

Loving Reminder...

ree

Today, during my yoga practice, I received a beautiful reminder.

It's not always about winning something (doing something better than someone else) or gaining titles; it's about remembering that you are here for a reason and what you bring to this world is important!!

This message comes from a book I bought myself for my birthday last year. It's full of loving reminders.

It's one of the things I do daily to keep my thoughts positive and focused on what I want to feel and be.

This is very fitting for me this week. We have had a lot of contests at work and I used to be that person that won all the time (even outside of work). However not so much these days..and I was feeling crappy like dang this sucks why am I not winning stuff lately...thinking poor me not the winner again...whats going on. So this message is a good one! Thanks for sharing!

Hello, amazing Be You! Community!

Today, let’s pause and celebrate the power of doing things that bring you joy.

Life can be busy, and sometimes it’s easy to forget that happiness often comes from the simplest moments.

Happy Friday, Be You! Community!

ree

As we wrap up another week, I want to take a moment to remind you how important it is to carve out time for joy in your life.

Life can often feel like a whirlwind of responsibilities, deadlines, and to-do lists. But amidst all the hustle and bustle, let's not forget one crucial aspect of our well-being...joy.

Why Joy Matters

When we make space for joy, we allow ourselves to recharge, reconnect with our passions, and embrace the beauty around us. Joy enhances our creativity, strengthens our resilience, and deepens our connections with others.

When we prioritize joy, we not only uplift ourselves but also those around us.

Embracing Your Self-Worth: A Journey To Inner Empowerment

ree

Today, let's take a moment to delve deep into a topic that profoundly affects how we navigate our lives, self-worth. In a world that often measures success by external achievements, it’s easy to forget that our true value comes from within.

Understanding Self-Worth

Self-worth is not about what you do or how much you earn; it’s about recognizing the inherent value you possess simply because you exist. It’s the understanding that you are enough, just as you are.

Brené Brown beautifully says, "You are imperfect, you are wired for struggle, but you are also worthy of love and belonging."

This quote serves as a reminder that our imperfections do not define us. Instead, they contribute to our unique stories.

The Power Of Unplugging: Why Taking A Break Matters

ree

In a world that’s constantly buzzing with notifications, emails, and to-do lists, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle. But sometimes, the most productive thing we can do for ourselves—and our loved ones—is to unplug and take a step back.

Here’s the truth...life doesn’t wait for us to finish that next project, answer one more email, or tick off every box on our never-ending checklist.

Life is happening now. And it’s in those moments when we disconnect from the noise that we truly connect with what matters most.

This week, I’m doing just that. My kids are on Spring Break for the next two weeks, and I’m hitting the pause button on all the chaos to be fully present with them.

We’ll be trading screens for fresh air, deadlines for belly laughs, and routines for moments that turn into lifelong memories.

The Courage To Choose You

ree

Living authentically takes courage, especially when you’ve spent years prioritizing everyone else’s needs over your own.

But here’s the thing about courage: it doesn’t have to be loud or bold. Sometimes, it’s as simple as whispering to yourself, “I deserve more.”

More time for yourself. More joy. More peace. More you.

If you’ve been waiting for the “right time” to focus on yourself, let me lovingly tell you: the right time is now.

You don’t need the stars to align. You don’t need to check off every box on someone else’s list of expectations.

Send Yourself A Little Love Today!

As February comes to an end and we more into a weekend and a new month, I just wanted to remind you that self-love doesn't always have to be this big thing you need to do or focus on or even change in your life.

Sometimes it's simply meeting yourself where you are.

Give yourself some love this week (and beyond!!)

You deserve it so very much.

I know I haven't been around for a bit...

The thing is I haven't been feeling like myself. My energy and mood have been really low.

The Importance Of Slowing Down: A Personal Reflection

ree
My Cat Skyler

This week started off a bit differently for me. I found myself in bed, with a really big headache that just wouldn’t go away.

It served as a wonderful reminder of the importance of slowing down.

My Week in Slow Motion

At first, I thought I could just power through it. But as the days passed and the headache seemed to get worse, I decided the only thing I could do was lay in bed and rest.

Spending all of Tuesday in bed wasn’t want I had planned for the day. I'm in the middle of a big project and my calendar was full of to-do's, but my body had other plans.

Simply Be As You Are, Where You Are

ree

Today I woke up and didn't want to get out of bed...and the longer I stayed, the grumpier and crappier I felt.

I kept having negative thoughts go through my head...

I finally realized that none of that was helpful, yet it was still challenging to change it...

Then, I took it one step at a time...

Just get out of bed...

Take Time To Fill Up Your Bucket

ree

This week, my son has been learning about filling up his bucket at school...he's in grade 3!!

Every day after school, he asks, "Mom, did you fill up your bucket today?" and then continues to ask my daughter and husband the same thing.

I love the reminder because I've been putting more energy into my work, and the reminder to slow down and do a check-in with myself (and my energy level) has been needed.

One of the days, I asked him, "What happens if your bucket has holes in it?"

What an eye-opener that was...I realized I needed a shift in perspective and to find a better balance during the day.

A Loving Reminder...

ree

This is so true. Yet, it can be challenging at times to actually do.

Take it one step at a time..start by noticing when you're saying negative things to yourself or putting yourself down.

Awareness is key to change...because we can't change what we don't see.

By taking this first step, you can become more aware of how you treat yourself...and then start taking steps to love and approve of yourself more.

And remember...it's about progress, NOT perfection.

New Beginnings...Endless Possibilities!

ree

Hello, Be You Community! 🌟

As we gather in this special space, I want to remind you that every day is an invitation to start anew. Life is a beautiful tapestry of experiences woven with both triumphs and challenges. It’s easy to get lost in the patterns of the past, but today, let’s focus on the vibrant threads of our future.

New beginnings are more than just fresh starts; they are opportunities for growth, reinvention, and self-discovery. Whether you’re considering a career change, moving to a new city, or simply trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle, remember: “The beginning is always today.” – Mary Shelley.

These words remind us that we don’t have to wait for the perfect moment to take the first step. Each moment is a chance to embrace change, to let go of what no longer serves us, and to welcome the possibilities ahead.

As you begin…
