Being kind to yourself isn’t selfish. It’s essential.
We hold so much for everyone else, but self-compassion is the gentle practice that keeps your heart, energy, and joy alive.
Today, let’s pause and give ourselves the care we readily offer others.
Three simple shifts to bring self-compassion into your day…
Notice without judgment: When you feel overwhelmed or fall short of your expectations, name it - “I’m feeling tired/frustrated/uncertain” - without adding “bad” or “weak.”
Comfort yourself like you would a friend: Put a hand over your heart, breathe slowly for a minute, and say, “I’m doing the best I can right now.” Loving words change your nervous system.
Allow imperfect rest: Rest isn’t a reward; it’s part of the work. Give yourself permission to pause, even for 10 minutes, without guilt.
