As we wrap up another week, I want to take a moment to remind you how important it is to carve out time for joy in your life.
Life can often feel like a whirlwind of responsibilities, deadlines, and to-do lists. But amidst all the hustle and bustle, let's not forget one crucial aspect of our well-being...joy.
Why Joy Matters
When we make space for joy, we allow ourselves to recharge, reconnect with our passions, and embrace the beauty around us. Joy enhances our creativity, strengthens our resilience, and deepens our connections with others.
When we prioritize joy, we not only uplift ourselves but also those around us.

Take a Moment for Yourself

My Own Personal Struggles
Lately, I have felt overwhelmed and consumed by my ever-growing to-do list.
This spring, I was really focused on creating a new, beautiful course [A Course In Self-Love], and I put all my heart and soul into it. I worked long hours and over the weekend. I loved every moment of it!
The thing is, other things around the house didn't get done. Spring cleaning, gardening, you name it, it didn't get done.
I have an amazing husband and kids who have been holding down the fort, but there's only so much they can do.
So lately I've found myself focused on what didn't get done, but I forgot the importance of joy and doing things that make me happy.
Today's motivational message was really inspired by my own personal struggles...
And I figured if I'm having a hard time remembering to do things that bring me joy and I'm overwhelmed by my to-do list, it’s also a great time to remind you how important joy is, because I, too, needed that reminder today.

Me...
I love being by the water, so I'm going to make going to the beach my top priority this weekend! I'm also going to start my day tomorrow with a coffee out on my deck and enjoy all the beautiful smelling flowers everywhere.
As for today...I'm going to go do a little reading.
