Self-Love and Another Trip Around the Sun
Today is my birthday!
As I celebrate another year around the sun, I've been reflecting on how far I've come…from even just a year ago, or 10 years ago, and how different I am from my 20-year-old self…oh, the things I wish I could tell my younger self.
But the truth is we have to live it, experience it, to truly understand it.
There are things in my past I don't love, things I've done, ways I've acted that I would have loved to take back.
But it's in those moments when we grow and learn the most. When I look back, I realize that without those challenges and struggles, I wouldn't be who I am today.
Do I wish things could have been easier or that I could have learned these lessons faster?!
Heck yes! There are days when I wish I'd stood up for myself in that moment or asked for help.
But I can't go back…
We can only live in the present moment…and what a beautiful thing that is.
We are here now, and this is the only moment that truly counts.
We get to decide what we do with it…live in the past, or learn from the past, and enjoy the moment in front of us…and embrace who we are becoming.
I've had some big aha moments lately, and I shared them on this week's special episode of the Loving Me Myself & Life podcast.

I spent most of my self-love journey feeling alone, misunderstood and lost.
But the thing is, we're not meant to do it alone…we are here to support each other. We all have good days and bad days…and lots of in-between days.
When you're having a bad day, week or even a bad month or year…that's when you need to lean on others for support. And when things are going good, that's when you help others rise!
It's not all or nothing…
It's meeting yourself where you are with honesty and love.
Honour what you need…love yourself, and when you can, spread that love around to others.

You are doing an amazing job…being human isn't easy.
